Optional Pump Controls are available for all Williams pumps to allow for automatic control of the injection rate. This is made possible by utilizing a flow signal from the process into the Pump Control Module, which in turn operates the pump to automatically inject the exact amount of chemical as needed for the application.

Two choices are available:

  • The APU (Automatic Pumping Unit) Series includes a solenoid valve that takes the place of the MK Oscillamatic Controller and can control one pump with a stroke rate between 0-45 strokes per minute. 
  • The WPC (Williams Pump Controller) Series can control two pumps, one as the main and the other as the standby pump. By utilizing an optional flow switch mounted on the pump’s common discharge line, the flow output is monitored and a signal is sent to the WPC.  If flow is lost, the WPC will activate the standby pump, while an input signal of greater than 4mA is present.
